Join other new parents and LMFT Roya Oakley in this series of five support groups focusing on Post-Partum support. Becoming a parent can be both both joyful and overwhelming when it comes to stress and feeling alone, especially during these times of isolation. More than ever, we are unable to see family and share the experience of caregiving. This will be a safe space to share your authentic experience relating to being a caregiver to your infant or very young child. Connect with other parents, share your experience and relate with the help of a licensed marriage and family therapist. Topics that may be shared include (but not limited to): transition and adjustment to parenthood, parent’s emotional and wellness challenges, infant’s social-emotional development, attachment, infant's regulatory and sensory challenges, self-care and stress management, bonding with your baby, sleep and developmental guidance.
